Ronnie was born in Italy in 1979, he now lives and works in Beechwood, NSW. Ronnie is passionate about photography as an art. He undertook his formal studies of photography in Italy, including at Bauer which is the oldest photography institute in Italy.
His focus lately has been on artistic projects and teaching – the parts of the job that Ronnie really enjoys.
Using photography as a visual language to tell stories – especially local stories – has been his main focus. “I feel really lucky to be able to do these projects and share them with people through exhibitions and workshops.”
Ronnie ran several photography workshops including smartphone and creative photography classes at Gloucester Art Gallery (2017), at The Seed Creative in Port Macquarie (2019) and in Wauchope as part of the Creative Wauchope festival (2018/19).
Ronnie has been giving artist talks at St Columba Anglican School in Port Macquarie, at Manning Regional Art Gallery in Taree (2018) and at Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery as part of the STILL – Still Life National Award (2017).
